The principles that guide every decision, every position, every action. Not election promises — immutable values.
Greece has the right to decide its own fate without external interference of any kind. We reject every form of submission to supranational mechanisms, foreign financial institutions, or geopolitical blocs that seek to dictate policy to elected governments.
Sovereignty is not a rhetorical concept — it is the practical ability of a nation to control its borders, its monetary and fiscal policy, its foreign alliances, and its cultural direction. Without real sovereignty, democracy itself is hollow. ENA is committed to recovering every dimension of national self-determination ceded over decades of managed decline.
Every public sector position, every state resource, every institutional appointment must be awarded based on demonstrable ability, knowledge, and performance — not political loyalty, personal connections, or family name.
Nepotism, cronyism, and the clientelist patronage system have systematically rotted Greek public life for generations. They drive talented people out of the country, reward mediocrity, and make the state dysfunctional. ENA proposes transparent, competitive, and independently audited processes for all public appointments at every level of government.
Greece is one of the oldest civilizations in human history — the cradle of democracy, philosophy, science, and art. This heritage is not a museum exhibit. It is a living foundation for national confidence and a standard against which present conduct must be measured.
We do not accept humiliating terms from creditors or condescending treatment from allies. ENA will restore pride, posture, and dignity to every dimension of Greek public life — in foreign policy, in institutional culture, and in how Greece presents itself to the world.
The law must apply equally to everyone — without exception, without delay, and without political interference. There are no untouchable individuals, no protected interests, and no institutions above accountability.
Greece's justice system has been chronically slow, selectively applied, and penetrated by political influence. ENA proposes root-and-branch reform of the judiciary: independent appointment of judges, full digitalisation of proceedings, and an end to the culture of impunity that has shielded the politically connected for decades.
Economic development is not an end in itself — it must translate into genuine improvements in the lives of ordinary citizens. ENA rejects both bureaucratic statism that suffocates initiative and unchecked market logic that abandons the vulnerable.
A just society invests in its people: quality public health, accessible education, housing security, and protection from exploitation. Social justice is not charity — it is the structural condition for a stable, cohesive, and productive nation.
Democracy cannot be reduced to a four-year electoral ritual in which citizens hand power to party machines and disappear until the next campaign. Real democracy requires genuine citizen participation, radical transparency in governance, and true accountability.
ENA advocates for constitutional reform to strengthen direct democracy, mandatory transparency in public contracting, open parliamentary procedures, and an end to the cartel of established parties that has monopolised Greek politics for half a century.
Greece's natural environment — its seas, mountains, forests, and agricultural land — is among its greatest national assets. Protecting it and intelligently developing it for citizens are not opposing objectives. They are complementary pillars of a sane long-term national strategy.
ENA supports investment in renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism, and marine resource management. We oppose reckless exploitation of natural resources for short-term profit. Greece's land belongs to the Greek people.
Millions of Greeks live outside Greece — in Europe, America, Australia, and across the world. Many left because their country did not offer them the future they deserved. They are not a loss to be mourned — they are a resource to be reconnected.
ENA will create structured pathways for diaspora Greeks to contribute to national development through investment incentives, dual political participation frameworks, cultural programs, and a permanent institutional voice in national governance.
Greece's economic policy must serve Greek citizens first — not foreign creditors, international funds, or supranational institutions that impose austerity while extracting national wealth.
ENA advocates for the renegotiation of debt terms, protection of strategic sectors, abolition of destructive taxation mechanisms, and an end to the forced sale of Greek assets. Economic sovereignty means that Greeks — not technocrats or creditors — decide Greece's economic future.
The Greek language, historical memory, and cultural continuity are not obstacles to progress — they are its foundation. A nation that abandons its identity abandons its reason to exist.
ENA will protect the teaching of Greek history and language in all schools, support cultural institutions, and defend the Greek character of our public life against every form of cultural dilution or externally imposed uniformity.
Concrete policy proposals with measurable targets. Not vague promises — a clear agenda for change.
Immediate reform of the judicial branch with merit-based selection for judges. Modernisation of the legal system, acceleration of court proceedings, and zero tolerance for corruption at any level of public life.
Strengthening domestic production through tax incentives, support for SMEs, development of the agricultural economy, and revival of the Greek industrial base with strategic partnerships.
Education that cultivates critical thinking, national consciousness, and professional skills. Universities connected to the labour market and direct support for young Greeks to build their future at home.
Strengthening the armed forces, protecting our borders with full sovereignty, and effective management of migration flows. National security is a non-negotiable priority — not a bargaining chip.
Root-and-branch reform of the National Health System: merit-based appointments, adequate investment, modern infrastructure. Social welfare that genuinely protects the vulnerable without creating permanent dependency.
Modernising state services through digital technology, eliminating bureaucratic bottlenecks, and building a digital economy that attracts international investment and creates high-value employment for Greeks.
